I'm so busy.
Less than 2 weeks until my Oxford application is due, and I've got to keep up with all my work while I do it. It's nuts.
So I haven't had a chance to read any posts or update or anything, and I probably won't for a couple of weeks.
I haven't even found the time to read the Shoebox teaser-update. It'll be a reward for when I get this lot finished.

TL;DR:
- I now have a driving license, and my own car, which is my pride and joy
- AS courses are over now, A2s have started with a bang and LOTS of Maths
- Completed a sponsored project over the summer with an engineering company, and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it
- Just treated myself to a new camera with the bonus from the project mentioned above - Canon Powershot S5 IS.

I'm well aware that I haven't updated my journal in a very long time.
In all honesty, I have very little time for it any more. I still enjoy reading others' journals and commenting where I have something worthwhile to contribute, but I (as you've noticed) rarely use my own any more.
One of the main reasons for this is the time. Poor excuse I know, but I've been exceedingly busy lately. When I make an update, I usually spend a long time on it - for whatever reason, whether it's because I have a lot to say, or I just want to say it how I mean it, and that takes time. So I don't just update in an odd 5 minutes I have to spare, for no particular reason. I'm not sure why, I just don't work that way. Most of the time when I do this, I read over what I've written and realise that it's a whole load of waffle and isn't really saying anything. So I delete it, and go back to whatever I was doing. Yeah, yeah, I know - my journal, I can post anything even if it doesn't really say anything. I just don't want to.
Because I'm perfectionist like this, I don't update much. I'm aware that my mutual friends list is dwindling, probably because of this, but I assure each and every one of you that I still read and enjoy your journals, and think of you. For those who decided to remove me (if you actually still read this), sorry that you felt you had to remove me, but there was probably a good reason. I promise to try and comment more...
So, for some actual content, here's what's going on in my life at the moment:
- House Plays - I'm directing a play this year, and it's getting to be extremely stressful! It's being performed on 22/23 March, should be fun.
- Driving - I'm 17 in 6 days time, so I've got my provisional and am all set to start learning. Hooray!
- College - working towards some deadlines at the moment, on a unit that utterly bores me. It's tough because it's so dull, but I'm getting there.
- School - business as usual. I got my results back for the January modules, though. I took Core Maths 1 and Statistics 1, and got an A in both of them! Extremely pleased with that!
- Other - New Palm! Got myself a new shiny Tungsten E. Not that big a deal, as there's not a whole lot more it can do compared to my other one, but it has mp3 capabilities for when I cba to take my Zen with me, much more processing power and a lovely higher-res screen. Plus it's in absolutely gorgeous condition, which is nice.
Right, back off to carry on with this IT. I WILL get it done!
PS. Tom (new cat) is still as grumpy as ever, most of the time. He's mellowing, though, and certainly has his cute and cuddly moments.

So, I've finally gotten around to updating again! (Although it's not going to be a very long update this time, that'll come when I've not got work to be getting on with.)
First of all, the meme, stolen from Weebly. I've got two lists of adjectives - one positive and one negative - and I'd like you to pick 5-6 from each list that you think describe me. :)

So, another early-morning update - this one shorter than the last!
I got a new shiny this morning! The Zen Vision:M 30Gb mp3 and video player. It's fantastic, the software is very user friendly and it's just perfect for me. I've been meaning to get myself an mp3 player for a LONG time, so yay! Zen = <3
I'm going on holiday in...just under 6 hours. (Yes, I'm getting to bed soon!) I'll be in sunny Lancashire for the next week, so won't be posting (business as usual) or on MSN. I'll try to access emails periodically to let people know I haven't drowned, but don't count on it (the emails, that is).

Well, it's closer to christmas than I realised! :s
I still need to buy presents, bugger. At least I know pretty much what I'm getting people...except for you Goole-y people! Meep. Any ideas?
Things to do over Christmas:
~ Buy presents!
~ Help Dad put up decorations
~ Tidy my bedroom =/
~ 2nd composition for music
~ Get back to a normal sleep pattern, i.e. try to go to bed before midnight
~ Book plane tickets for Australia? Or at least find out what's going on!
~ On a related note to the above point, settle debts with parents
~ Do some music theory
List will be edited. XD It's mainly for me, but meh I'm posting it to everyone's flists anyway! SPAM!
Edit 1: I've been addicted to Dragonforce's 'Through the Fire and Flames', which is a song from their next album, out in January. They released this track for download on their website, and it's fantastic! I absolutely have to get their new album when it comes out. <333

Hullo, world.
It's been a while since I updated this thing! ...And now I remember why. I have nothing to say, really. XD
Looking forward to half term, whee! Also need to get off my lazy arse and scan in my photos from the summer, then I'll actually have something interesting to post here.
On a completely unrelated note, I need more memory for my computer; I have about 5 gigs of space left. Damnit. I also could do with getting a new, decent graphics card, but I unfortunately have no money spare. Hopefully that'll change soon, if I get enough shifts at McD's over half term ((During the time when I'm not gonna be in Goole)), although I still owe my parents money, and am trying to save. So much stuff to spend money on, so little money!
I have a new Wirehog account too, for files on my new computer, because I figured it would be way too complicated having everything on one account. I know my Wirehog account isn't used much anyway, but still! XD My account for the other computer ((Family one)) is flowersofevil, and my new one is flowersofevil19. Oooo, look at me being all original n' such!
That's about it for now. I will scan those pictures in n' stuff eventually, but it might take a while. It's taken long enough already. x_X I'm a lazy bugger!
Oh, also, if you know of any good tracks, then recommend them to me. I'm trying to build up my music collection, about 1200+ tracks so far and counting! XD I guess that's part of the reason why I'm running out of memory...

Hullo everyone! Am now back in sunny ol' England. ^_^ It's good to be back, although I miss Australia loads!!
Had a FANTASTIC time, more details to come with photos as soon as I get them developed...also need to steal some photos from Jen ((Do you have a scanner? If not, can ya maybe bring the pics in on Monday or something?)) and scan in mine, then upload n' stuff. It'll take a long time...
In other news, I got the internet set up on my computer in my room! Am currently updating it and installing protection software etc, but it's pretty good to have my own computer, will make life much easier and more internet-filled ^o^ Tehe
Argh, school tomorrow. Still have lots of work to do, which I'm going to go do now. Ooo, just remembered, I also have to get back into the habit of uploading songs for my posts. Will try and do that from now on. I'll also try to catch up with my friends list, sorry everyone for not commenting!

Well, I'm back from France, and packing for Australia! No rest for the wicked. XD
Just a quick post to let you all know I'm still alive, had a FANTASTIC time in France, and am very busy.
I miss France, the instructors most of all, but I'm really looking forward to Australia. Wonder when I'm going to find time to do all my schoolwork...=/ Ah well. x.x
Here's a pic of myself taken on the beach in France, during the first half of the holiday which was in the Med ((There was no beach for the second half)). Fear the tan lines! >D ((Only I'm browner now, and the arm ones aren't as obvious. My feet are just stripey!))

Been sorting out stuff which I'm going to take with me to the Ardeche/Australia. Omigod, it's actually really soon that I go...only 3 days! Although I only really have 1 and a half days to finish up with buying/collecting together/sorting out everything that I need, because I have to be at school at 11am Thursday morning ((Very civilised time!)), and hopefully I'll be spending Wednesday with Tom. ^_^
I'm really going to miss everyone back here in England, now that I think about it. Family quite a bit, close friends a lot, people I talk to online a bit, although depending on what kinds of ridiculous times I/you/they can all get online, I might well still get chances to talk to everyone. Massive time difference though - Australia is about 8 hours ahead. I'm nervous about this, but I'm also very excited! Whee!
It's great to be going away like this over summer, but it does mean I sort of haven't got time to get any work done. Oops. =/ And also I can't go to Goole! ;_; But hopefully I'll be able to go in half term next term ^_^ Am looking forward to it already! XD
Nothing much to say. I need to get pictures of myself, partly for people in Australia to recognise me, partly because I just haven't posted any recently, with the new haircut.
On a completely unrelated note, I seem to be making a lot of my entries public recently. Mainly because there's nothing that private in them, but it's still different. Never mind!

I'm making a 'silly' mp3 CD, and so far only have about 400mb out of a possibly 700mb of stuff to put on it. Woe! Anything, anything at all silly is good. Please send! Whoops for not updating for ages. And not checking flists, either. I'm such a bad person! x.x

In other news, I got my hair cut. Got it done quite a while ago actually, but I sorta haven't updated so I haven't mentioned it. o.o Half of it is shoulder length, but it's layered so it goes a lot shorter than that. I quite like it, although it's really irritating when it goes curly/wavy. >.>
OMG. I'm planning stuff for the summer holidays, real details. Everything seems like it's gone SO quickly! I've got next week at school, and then I'm at home until thursday 28th, when I go to the Ardeche in France with school, watersports trip. Sounds like it's gonna be really fun, and insane. Our Head of Year is organising it, and she's mad. ^^ Then I get back Friday 5th, and have the rest of Friday at home to pack, on Saturday I'm working and going out with friends, and then on Sunday I leave for Australia! Don't get back from there until September 3rd, 2 days before I go back to school. Yup, I'm keeping myself nice n' busy! XD It's gonna be fantastic. <3
Am now off to get stuff done, and read Shoebox. Which is fantastic and wonderful and so much better than the actual books! XD

Entry about the attacks on London today, terrorism and hate in general. Also about Windows For Peace, an organisation trying to help stop hatred and violence in Israel and Palestine...seems a little far away to affect us. And it is. But I care. Been performing a play on the subject, at HD&OS.
